Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg plum(s), whole with stone
  • 750 g sugar (rock candy)
  • 2 bottles of red wine, sweet
  • 1 bottle of rum
  • 10 carnations
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes

A treat in the pre-Christmas season

Heat the red wine, rock candy, cloves, and cinnamon stick until very hot, but do not boil until the rock candy has dissolved. Add the plums, heat again, but do not boil. Pour into a stone pot and seal. After 24 hours, add the bottle of rum. Designed for pre-Christmas enjoyment, but delicious beforehand as well. Tip: It can also be beautifully wrapped and given as a gift for Christmas or any other occasion.
