  • 5 apricots
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 ml water
  • 400 ml vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

yields approx. 1.5 – 2 liters

Wash and hull the gooseberries. Pit the peaches and apricots and chop them into large pieces. Place them in a saucepan with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and water and simmer until softened. Then puree the mixture. If you don’t like the gooseberry stones, you can strain the mixture through a sieve. Let the fruit puree cool slightly before adding the vodka. You can use a little more or less vodka to suit your taste. Pour the finished lime juice into sterile bottles and seal tightly. This yields approximately 1.5–2 liters.
