Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 200 g nougat
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp sugar
- e.g. melted chocolate
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Makes about 80 pieces.
Whisk all ingredients except the chocolate together with a hand mixer, then knead by hand. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. This makes it easier to work with. Shape into croissants and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes. Let cool. Dip the ends of the croissants in melted chocolate and let them dry.
