Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg roast pork (skin roast)
  • lots of salt
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp, leveled garlic powder
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 200 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Enjoy hot or cold

Fill a large plate or other suitable container with all the specified spices and mix everything well. Then roll the pork roast in it until the entire meat is coated with the seasoning mixture (the meat is already moist enough, so you don’t need to add anything extra beforehand). Melt the butter in a pan and then fry the “spicy roll” in it. Be careful not to overheat! Carefully and regularly turn the spicy roll a little further. After about 20 minutes, it should be cooked through and wonderfully tender. We like to eat the spicy roll as a sausage on bread or just snack on it as is. In any case, you shouldn’t cut the slices too thickly.
