Ingredients for 16 servings:
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 360 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 280 g buttermilk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 75 g sugar
- 100 g almond(s), in flakes
- 125 g butter
- 1 cup of cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Mix the above ingredients into a batter and pour it onto a deep baking sheet. Sprinkle the batter with the flaked almonds and sugar and bake at 180°C for 25 minutes. Shortly before the end of the baking time, bring the butter and cream to a boil, pour it onto the baked, still-hot cake, and let it soak in.
