Apple tea

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 m.-large apples, sweet
  • 4 tbsp beet syrup
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp sugar with vanilla
  • 1.7 liters of water
  • 6 pieces of sugar cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

For about 1.7 liters of tea…

First, quarter the apples, remove the cores and stems, and then cut into medium-sized slices. Place the apples and the remaining ingredients in a pot. Bring the water to a boil and pour over everything. The tea should steep for at least 7-10 minutes to allow the flavor to fully develop. The added beetroot syrup, along with the lemon juice, enhances the natural flavor. You can, of course, add the sugar cubes to the tea later, depending on your taste.
