Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 ml black tea
- 50 g sugar
- 100 ml brown rum
- 150 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
- e.g. mulled wine spice or clove(s), cinnamon, orange peel and star anise
- Lemon(s), pieces
- Orange(s), pieces
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Melt the sugar in a saucepan and deglaze with the hot tea. Melt the resulting caramel. Then add all the remaining ingredients and heat for about 15 minutes (do not boil). Serve in punch glasses with finely sliced lemons and orange segments.
