Grilled feta in aluminum foil

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 slices feta cheese, thick
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 peppers, green, from the jar
  • olive oil
  • black pepper
  • e.g. tomato(s)
  • n. B. Artichoke hearts, from the can
  • Oregano, dried
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Peel the garlic cloves and press them into a small bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and let them marinate for as long as possible (preferably overnight). Halve the feta slices. Tear the aluminum foil into small, suitable pieces. Cut the onion and pepperoni into rings. Place the halved feta on each piece of aluminum foil and generously brush with the garlic and olive oil, including the crushed garlic. Then season generously with black pepper, basil, and oregano. Finally, arrange the onion and pepperoni rings on top, and, if desired, add sun-dried tomatoes and/or artichoke hearts. Now fold the aluminum foil into four small parcels. Place these on the grill and grill thoroughly (approx. 10 minutes, depending on the heat).
