Pasta Hollandaise

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 jars of asparagus
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 300 ml hollandaise sauce
  • 1 shot of dry white wine
  • salt and pepper
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. I like to use tagliatelle pasta. If you prefer your pasta al dente, drain it 2 minutes before cooking. Dice the onion, garlic, and ham, and finely chop the asparagus. Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan with a little butter. As soon as they are translucent, add the ham and asparagus, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Deglaze with the wine and simmer for about 5 minutes. Now add the hollandaise sauce. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Stir the pasta into the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes. If you like, you can add fresh herbs, mushrooms, or similar. You’ll add more calories if you top everything with cheese.
