Red wine – pepper – sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp pepper, whole black grains
  • 125 ml red wine
  • 200 ml whipped cream or Cremefine
  • 3 tbsp sauce powder for gravy
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

e.g. with beef fillet

Melt the butter and fry the onion until translucent. Add the peppercorns, deglaze with red wine and cream, and simmer for 10 minutes. Then stir in the gravy powder and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
