Apple turnovers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 drops butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 150 g quark
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil, neutral
  • e.g. applesauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with quark-oil dough

Using a hand mixer, combine all ingredients except the applesauce until smooth. Roll out the dough and cut out shapes using a round cutter (e.g., a metal ring). Spread the applesauce over the circles and fold them together to form half-moons. Press the ends together firmly to prevent the applesauce from spilling out. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes.
