Smarties Nut Cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 50 g sugar
  • 150 g sugar, brown
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 200 g chocolate (chocolate drops)
  • 100 g almonds, chopped
  • 100 g sweets (Smarties)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 14 minutes; Total time approx. 49 minutes

First, cream the butter with the different sugars until fluffy. Stir in the eggs. Sift the flour and baking powder into the butter mixture. Add the hazelnuts and stir. Crush the Smarties and add them to the mixture along with the almonds and chocolate chips (reserve a few to sprinkle on the cookies). Fold in with a whisk, but do not mix any more. Place the dough (ideally with a tablespoon) in small piles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (depending on the size, you will need between 27-50 cookies) and flatten slightly with a fork. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips over the dough. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 13-14 minutes. The cookies shouldn’t be too hard on the outside, otherwise they will be hard on the inside too.
