Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 large pear(s), firm
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 300 ml red wine
  • 250 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dessert

Peel the pears, quarter them lengthwise, and core them. Place the pear quarters in a saucepan, add the cinnamon and sugar, and pour in the wine. Cover and let simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Let cool, and in the meantime, whip the cream. Serve the pears garnished with whipped cream.
