Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g cod fillet(s), frozen
  • 1 potato(s), peeled and quartered
  • 1 small carrot(s) , small
  • 1 onion(s), cut into rings
  • 600 ml water
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 10 juniper berries, crushed
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

ideal preparation for singles, as little crockery is required

Bring all ingredients, except the fish and potatoes, to a boil in water. Add the potatoes to the stock. After 10 minutes of cooking time, add the frozen fish and cook for another 15 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter and garnish with parsley. Arrange the fish and potatoes on a plate and pour the hot butter over them.
