Tortelloni with ham sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of tortelloni with spinach and ricotta filling
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • some whipped cream
  • Handful of cheese, grated
  • some herbs, frozen, e.g. Italian
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • Locust bean gum for thickening

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice 3 large slices of cooked ham, dice 1 onion, and boil the water for the tortelloni. Cook the tortelloni according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, fry the diced ham in clarified butter until golden brown, then add the onion and cook until golden brown. Deglaze with the stock and add cream to taste. Stir in grated cheese (I always have Edam or Gouda at home) to taste. Thicken the sauce with the locust bean gum (do not boil). Finish with the herbs.
