Apricots with Amaretto

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g apricots
  • 60 ml water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey, 20 g
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar, 20 g
  • 4 cl Amaretto according to taste
  • 30 g almond flakes
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • cream
  • Lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 17 minutes

to prepare well

Wash, pit, and slice the apricots. Bring water, lemon juice, honey, and powdered sugar to a boil. Add the apricots and simmer for about 2 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat and let cool. Add the Amaretto and flaked almonds and chill for about 2 hours. Serve with vanilla ice cream and garnish with whipped cream and lemon balm leaves.
