Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 1 tbsp oil (walnut oil)
- Salt
- pepper
- curry powder
- 100 g crème fraîche
- 1 tsp honey, liquid clear
- 1 tbsp mixed herbs, finely chopped
- 100 g almond(s), chopped
- 50 g almond(s), ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Preheat oven: 200°C (top/bottom heat), 180°C (fan oven), gas mark 4. Wash the fillets and pat dry. Heat oil in a pan, briefly fry the fillets, and season with salt, pepper, and curry powder on both sides. Mix the crème fraîche with honey, 1 tablespoon of the herbs, and the almonds. Spread the mixture over the top of the fillets, place them in an ovenproof dish, and place them on the oven rack in the preheated oven. Cook for about 20 minutes. The crust should be golden brown; then let it rest for about 10 minutes. Serve with a delicious green salad.
