Tomato-Mascarpone-Mozzarella Pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • some olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 small onions (spring onions)
  • 5 slice(s) ham (Kaiserschinken)
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • Herbs
  • 200 g mascarpone
  • 200 ml cream
  • 125g mozzarella
  • 1 handful of pine nuts
  • 500 g pasta (fusilli)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Add some olive oil to a pan and wait until it’s warm. Next, add the garlic. Now, dice the spring onions, ham, and tomatoes, and mix everything in the pan. In the meantime, cook the pasta in water according to the package instructions. Finely chop the various herbs and mix them into the sauce. Next, add the mascarpone and cream. After that, add the sliced ​​mozzarella and a handful of pine nuts. Finally, add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Season to taste. Serve on the plate with arugula and Parmesan cheese.
