Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 head of cauliflower, firm
- Fat for frying
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Make a batter from flour, egg, milk, salt, and nutmeg. Divide the cauliflower into small florets, dip each in the batter, then carefully place them in the simmering oil and fry until golden brown.
