Cauliflower piccata

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cauliflower, small to medium-sized
  • some flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • Oil, for frying
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the cauliflower into 1 cm thick slices. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cauliflower slices until al dente. Then rinse in cold water and drain well. Mix the eggs with milk, Parmesan cheese, and a little pepper. Coat the cauliflower slices in flour, then coat in the Parmesan-egg mixture and fry in hot oil on both sides. Serve hot.
