Porridge with raspberries from the steamer

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup oatmeal (whole grain)
  • 3 cups milk
  • n. B. sugar
  • e.g. cream
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries or berries of your choice

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

I’ve never managed to make truly creamy porridge from whole-grain flakes using conventional methods. But since yesterday, I’ve had my new kitchen and the new Miele steamer, and this morning I had my first taste of success. Pour the oats and milk into the solid container. Cook for 2 minutes at 100°C. Open the door and place the raspberries in the solid container over the oats. Then cook for another 10 minutes at 95°C. Serve with sugar and cream.
