Turkey strips with a curry sauce on tagliatelle

First, remove any tendons from the turkey breast and then cut it into equal-sized pieces. If you make sure that the pieces are cut into bite-sized pieces, you won’t have to do any additional cutting later and you can eat the dish with a fork and spoon. Next, you can put some hot water on for the pasta. I used tagliatelle in this case, but it’s also delicious with other pasta or rice. Then fry the pieces briefly in a little butter until they turn a light brown color. The turkey breast doesn’t need to be completely cooked through on the inside, as this will happen later during simmering and this will prevent it from becoming too dry. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Now you can add the cup of crème fraîche and the oregano. The choice of herbs can also vary. Let the meat simmer in the sauce over medium heat until the pasta is ready. Meanwhile, season the sauce with curry powder, salt, and pepper; this is best done in small doses if you’re inexperienced. If the sauce is too thin or too thick, you can dilute it with a little cream or milk. A side of baguette bread rounds off the dish perfectly.
