Make your own chips

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large potatoes
  • oil
  • Spice(s), e.g. paprika, pizza seasoning, garlic, etc.

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly with a knife or grater. In a bowl, combine the oil and seasonings. Line a wire rack with parchment paper. Brush the potato slices thinly on both sides with the seasoned oil and place them on the parchment paper. Roast in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes, until they are lightly browned on the edges and crispy in the center. If you brush them with too much oil and leave small puddles on the chips, they will still be soft in the center after baking even though they are brown around the edges.
