Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 12 m.-sized potatoes
- 50 g herb butter
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel the potatoes and, using a sharp knife, make slits about 2 mm apart through 2/3 of the potato. (If you hold the knife at an angle and cut so that only the tip touches the surface, it will be fairly even and easy.) Place baking paper or foil on the oven rack and spread the potatoes on the rack. Season with salt and spread with half of the herb butter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. Then spread with the rest of the herb butter and bake for another 30 minutes. Shortly before the end (depending on the oven), you may need to add a little more grill heat to give the potatoes a nice brown color. Goes perfectly with anything grilled or pan-fried! Also delicious with all kinds of dips and dressings.
