Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ fennel
  • 4 leaves of chard
  • 1 small banana(s), ripe
  • 10 dates, pitted
  • Water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mild and sweet – ideal for children and those with a sweet tooth

For this smoothie, I only use the white part of the chard leaves. I have so many other uses for the green part, and this smoothie has a completely different color. Of course, you can vary the flavors, as there is green, yellow, orange, and red chard. I definitely recommend using a mild chard for this smoothie so that the flavors of the banana and dates aren’t overpowered. Roughly chop the fennel and chard stalks and place them in a blender. Peel and break the banana into pieces, pit the dates, and add both ingredients to the blender. Then fill with cold water up to the 1-liter mark and blend on high for at least 2 minutes.
