Green, very healthy smoothie

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • Radish leaves from a bunch of radishes
  • Kohlrabi leaves from a kohlrabi
  • 150 g kale, ready to cook
  • 200 g broccoli
  • 50 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 1 small banana(s), ripe
  • 1 large sweet apple
  • 80 g raspberries
  • 750 ml water, still
  • 3 tbsp linseed oil
  • 2 tbsp, leveled bitters (Bitterliebe), optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Detox, waste and leftover recycling

Wash all the vegetables and fruit, peel the banana, chop the radish and kohlrabi leaves (without the stems) and the broccoli, including the stems. You can buy ready-to-cook kale from the refrigerated section, but you can also use frozen or fresh kale. Remove only the stem and blossom from the apple. Chop the fruit. Put everything into a blender in at least two batches. Add the water and, if desired, Bitterliebe (as seen on the Lion’s Den). Blend everything for about 2-3 minutes, depending on how powerful your blender is. Then add the linseed oil and blend again for another 5 seconds. I put both batches into a large pot, stir well again, and then bottle the smoothie. It keeps for up to 3 days in the fridge. The smoothie isn’t very sweet (because it’s healthy). If you need it, you may need to add a little more sugar; if possible, avoid using sugar. This makes 1 3/4 liters.
