Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp oil, e.g. sunflower oil
  • 300 g flour
  • 250 g quark
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g chocolate chips
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing
  • n. B. Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix all ingredients together, then add the chocolate chips. Using a tablespoon or ice cream scoop, portion the dough onto a baking sheet and shape into balls. Don’t make the balls too large; the chocolate rolls will rise well. Brush with egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for 12-15 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Makes approximately 10 rolls.
