Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 10 g salt
  • 50 g grains of your choice for the dough
  • 30 g seeds of your choice for sprinkling
  • 360 g water, lukewarm
  • Water for brushing
  • possibly bread spice mix

First, thoroughly mix the dried yeast, honey, natural yogurt, vinegar, salt, seeds, and lukewarm water in a bowl. Then stir in the flour. Sprinkle a few seeds into a loaf pan and pour in the bread dough. Smooth it out slightly, sprinkle a few seeds on the bread, and brush well with water—the water will give it a nice crust. When the bread dough has risen by about 2 cm (mine takes about 20 minutes), place it in the preheated oven and bake at 200°C for 50 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the bread cool for 10 minutes. Depending on your taste, you can add bread spice or omit the vinegar, honey, or seeds from the dough.
