quick and easy in the microwave

First, briefly place the thawed berries in the microwave until they begin to burst. Then, mash them with a fork to release the juice. Then add the oats and liquid, stir, and heat in the microwave for about 2 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency. Add sweetener and vanilla or cinnamon if desired – done! Super filling and delicious, especially when cold. Be careful! It cooks very hot in the microwave, so use a large enough bowl. Tip: Milk makes it creamier, while water makes it more “fluffy.” You can also adjust the consistency by changing the amount of liquid. Variations: – Simply use different berries, preferably frozen, as they release the most liquid. – Add fresh fruit and 1 teaspoon of nut butter or Nutella to the basic porridge. – Stir in applesauce and cinnamon afterward. – Prepare the porridge with milk and then stir in 1 tablespoon of hot cocoa powder.
