Mushroom schnitzel

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 g turkey schnitzel
  • Mushrooms (amount as desired, fresh or from a can)
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 cube of soup, instant
  • 50 g Cremefine for cooking
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

WW

Heat oil in a large pan and sauté the diced onion until translucent. Season the meat with salt and pepper and fry until cooked through. Remove the meat from the pan. Add the mushrooms and sauté until tender. Just before it starts to burn, add water. Season. I added a stock cube, but I’m sure other options would work. Add Cremefine (I’ve also used milk instead). Thicken slightly if needed. Add the meat and return to the heat. Done!
