Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g veal liver, shredded
- 2 onions, cut into fine rings
- 1 tbsp flour
- 60 g fat
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 200 ml broth
- Salt and pepper, from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Fry the finely sliced onions and flour in hot fat until golden brown. Add the shredded liver and continue to fry, turning and stirring constantly, until the liver is golden brown. Then deglaze with the stock and vinegar. Bring to a boil briefly, then season with salt and pepper. A rösti (fried potato) goes perfectly with sour liver!
