Moist wholemeal bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g wheat flour (wholemeal)
  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 120 g rye flour (wholemeal)
  • 180 ml water
  • 1 tbsp beetroot, heaped
  • 1 handful of sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

for the bread maker

Pour water, salt, and beetroot into the bread maker’s container. Then simply add the different types of flour, the flaxseed, and the sunflower seeds, and finally sprinkle the sachet of dried yeast over the dough. Set the basic bread baking program. That’s it. The dough should have a soft, yet firm consistency. Under no circumstances should the dough feel hard or dry when kneaded. Check and adjust again with a little water or flour if necessary.
