Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 70 g leek, small weighed
- 500 g brown rice, cooked
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 50 g cheese, grated Gouda
- 4 tbsp mixed herbs, frozen 8-herb
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp salt (seasoning salt)
- 6 grains of pepper, ground
- Fat, for frying – OR change:
- 250 g quark 0.5%
- 3 tbsp brown rice, ground
- ½ tsp salt (seasoning salt)
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with change, gluten-free
Mix together the leeks and peppercorns. Form 4 palm-sized patties from half of the batter, fry in hot oil, and fry. Alteration: Mix the quark, ground rice, and seasoned salt into the other half. Form the batter into 4 palm-sized patties, and fry in hot oil. My own recipe: To use up leftover egg whites, try my meringue recipe!
