Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 jar sour cherries
- 2 eggs
- 100 g thick juice (agave syrup)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 150 g yogurt
- 250 g whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 50 ml oil
- 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
- e.g. powdered sugar
- Fat for the mold
- Breadcrumbs for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Drain the cherries in a sieve. Whisk together the eggs, agave syrup, vanilla sugar, yogurt, and oil. Combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and cinnamon and stir in a spoonful at a time. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan dusted with breadcrumbs and smooth the surface. Press the cherries into the batter. Bake the cake at 180°C for about 30 minutes (use a toothpick to check if it’s cooked). Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
