Quark dumplings

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp herbs, frozen
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 250 g corn, ground (semolina)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of cane sugar
  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

gluten-free

Whisk the fat until fluffy, add the eggs, salt, and quark. Then add the ground corn/semolina and herbs, cover, and let it swell for 20 minutes (cold). Bring water with salt to a boil. Use a tablespoon to scoop out small dumplings from the quark mixture and add them to the boiling water. When the dumplings rise to the top, cook for another 20 minutes.
