Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 170 g oat flakes (can also be instant flakes)
- 45 g desiccated coconut, flakes
- 45 g chopped nuts (almost any nut can be used here)
- 150 g honey
- 55 g butter, in flakes
- 1 tsp vanilla extract, a few drops of flavoring or 0.5 sachet of sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 130 g raisins
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Combine all ingredients except the raisins and mix thoroughly. Spread on a low-sided baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 22-24 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown (stir well halfway through). Remove from the oven and stir in the raisins. Let cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container. Can also be prepared in the microwave: Combine all ingredients except the raisins and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 6-7 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Remove from the oven and add the raisins.
