Orange – elderflower – jelly

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter orange juice
  • 12 elderflower umbels
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • 750 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

Carefully wash the elderflowers and soak them in the orange juice overnight. The next day, remove the blossoms and strain the juice through a sieve. Bring to a boil with the lemon juice and sugar. Pour into clean, rinsed jars.
