Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 waffles (rice cakes)
  • 175 g smoked tofu
  • 100 ml water
  • ½ cup(s) oil, neutral
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tbsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp cardamom
  • 75 g coconut oil, melted
  • possibly pepper, green

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Crumble the rice cakes and smoked tofu and add them to a blender along with all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth and no longer lumpy. Be careful not to let any of the mixture stick to the bottom of the blender. Stir in some green pepper, if desired. Let cool thoroughly for a firm but spreadable consistency.
