Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g puff pastry (frozen)
- 100 g sunflower seeds, chopped, roasted
- 40 g sesame seeds
- 40 g poppy seeds
- Flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Thaw the puff pastry sheets and place them on a floured work surface. Sprinkle with a little water. Sprinkle 50g of sunflower seeds onto one half of each rectangle. Fold the other half over. Lightly flour the pastry sheets and roll them out to a width of 18cm. Moisten the surfaces of the pastry sheets again and sprinkle with the remaining sunflower seeds. Carefully turn the pastry sheet over and moisten the other side. Sprinkle half lengthwise with sesame seeds and half with poppy seeds. Cut into strips measuring approximately 18 x 2.5cm, twist them open, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C for electric ovens, 180°C for fan ovens) for approximately 18 minutes until light brown.
