Almond-banana-chocolate cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 80 g sugar
  • 100 g dark chocolate, vegan
  • 100 ml oil, tasteless
  • 200 ml soy milk (soy drink), or rice, almond, spelt, or oat milk
  • 70 g almonds, chopped
  • 3 bananas
  • 150 g dark chocolate, vegan, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Vegan

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) top/bottom heat. Combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and sugar in a bowl. Heat the oil, plant-based milk, and dark chocolate together in a saucepan on the stovetop until the chocolate has melted. Then add the mixture to the bowl with the flour mixture and whisk. Cut the bananas into small pieces and fold them into the mixture along with the chopped almonds. Grease the baking pan and pour the mixture into the pan. Bake the cake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Then let it cool and, if desired, cover with chocolate icing or dust with powdered sugar.
