  • 4 bananas (baby bananas)
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1 orange(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 4 stalks of lavender for garnish

Juice the orange and lemon. Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise. Roast the sesame seeds without oil. Heat the honey with the lemon and orange juice (do not boil) and sauté the banana halves for 2-3 minutes. Remove the bananas and roll them in the toasted sesame seeds. Allow the juice to reduce slightly and drizzle over the bananas. Garnish with the lavender stems. This goes well with chocolate ice cream, as well as nut and nougat ice cream. It can also be enjoyed without ice cream for breakfast.
