Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g potatoes
- 200 g apples
- 1 cup of cream
- salt and pepper
- Fat, for the shape
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Peel the potatoes, slice them lengthwise into thin slices, wash them, and pat dry. Peel the apples and slice them thinly. Layer the potatoes and apples alternately in a greased dish. Season each potato with salt and pepper. Pour the cream over the potatoes. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 200°C for 50 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil shortly before the end of the 50 minutes to allow the gratin to brown.
