Pizza dough with honey and spelt flour

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g spelt flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Pizza topping of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Combine all ingredients, from flour to salt – dry ingredients first – and knead into a dough. Cover and let rise for about 40 minutes. Then roll out thinly on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat). Finely chop the garlic cloves and mix well with the olive oil. Brush this mixture over the dough. Top the dough with your favorite toppings. Bake the pizza for 20 minutes.
