Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 kg mushrooms
  • 3 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 100 g herb butter
  • 1 tsp, leveled sea salt
  • 2 pinches of ground pepper
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, hot
  • ½ tsp caraway powder
  • 4 tbsp gyro seasoning
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Clean the mushrooms. Peel the onion, halve it, and slice it into medium-thick half rings. Heat the herb butter and oil in a pan and brown the onions. Add the mushrooms and fry until lightly browned. Then add the seasonings and continue frying for about 5 minutes, but do not cook until completely cooked. Turn off the heat, but let stand for about another 5 minutes. Serve with garlic sauce and fresh baguette. It can also be topped with cheese.
