Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 50 g fine oat flakes
- 100 ml water
- 150 ml milk
- 1 banana(s)
- ½ apple
- 2 tsp flaxseed
- 1 tsp almond butter
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- Vanilla from the pod or mill
- Almonds, chopped, for decoration
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Warm porridge, a breakfast that fills you up
Cut the apple into small pieces. Mash the banana. Combine the milk and water with the vanilla and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. Add the oats and flaxseed and continue to simmer until a porridge forms, stirring constantly. Stir the mashed banana and almond butter into the porridge. Continue to simmer gently, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Once the desired consistency is reached, transfer the porridge to a deep plate. Sprinkle the chopped apple over the porridge and garnish with chopped almonds.
