Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes
  • 200 ml milk, 1.5% fat, or buttermilk
  • 2 slice(s) cheese, e.g. Esrom
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 pinch(s) of oregano
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • e.g. cashew nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with grated carrots and cheese

In a bowl, combine the flour, eggs, milk, and oats with the softened butter. Dice the onion and add it to the batter along with the peeled and grated carrot. Tear the cheese into small pieces by hand and add it to the batter. Season with pepper, salt, and oregano. Heat the waffle iron and grease it with a little butter. Then ladle the batter into the waffle iron and bake the waffles.
