Cream for sushi

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp cream horseradish, milder
  • 1 tsp wasabi paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mix all ingredients together well and season to taste. Refrigerate the cream until ready to use or spread it directly onto the rice of a sushi roll. The above quantities can be adjusted to your taste. If you like, add a little more or less horseradish or wasabi. Since wasabi is very spicy, use less if necessary at first and adjust the spiciness gradually. For me, I found this recipe to be a good medium-spicy version. I’ll serve the wasabi and any leftover cream later anyway, so those who like it spicier can add more for dipping. The entire portion is enough for about 250g of rice, or 5 sushi rolls.
