Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 1 lemon(s), juice, according to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp herb mix (8-herb mix) frozen
  • 2 pinches of thyme, dried
  • 1 tsp salt
  • n. B. Pepper, freshly ground

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

the lemon makes it special

The butter should be very soft, but not runny. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the softened butter. In a food processor or blender, combine the butter and lemon juice until no more lemon juice is visible and the butter is almost white. Press the garlic onto a board and rub it into a paste with the salt (this works best with the flat side of a knife). Add the garlic, 8-herb seasoning, thyme, and pepper to the butter and mix well. Then place the butter on a sheet of plastic wrap, roll it up, and let it set in the fridge. After that, you can cut into slices. You can also spread the herb butter into silicone ice cube trays, chill them, and then simply press it out of the tray.
