Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg tomatoes
- 10 slices of raclette cheese
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- 1 kg bread(s), fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Slice the tomatoes and onions. Arrange a layer of tomatoes in an ovenproof dish. Add a layer of onion rings on top. Top with 5 slices of raclette cheese and repeat the layers. Season each layer with salt and pepper, if desired. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Place the casserole in the oven. Stir occasionally until the mixture is relatively smooth and the cheese has melted. Serve the entire ovenproof dish with fresh bread for dipping.
