Pasta bake with pesto cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle, or other
  • 300 ml cream
  • 300 ml milk
  • 150 g pesto, green or red
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 3 tbsp herb cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Butter, for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the tagliatelle pasta as usual in plenty of salted water. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic cloves and fry them in a pan with a little oil. Add the milk, cream, cream cheese, and pesto to the pan and bring to a boil. Thicken the sauce as needed and toss it with the cooked pasta. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Grease a baking dish with butter. Place a layer of pasta in the baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and then another layer of pasta on top. Spread the remaining cheese over the pasta. Bake at 150°C for about 15 minutes.
